Registration is Now Open for the 2025 Coastal Summit in Raleigh

Registration is now open for a two-day summit in Raleigh this spring. It will focus on protecting and restoring the coast. The event, “Ripple Effect: Enhancing Oysters, Salt Marsh and Water Quality Together,” will be held on April 8-9 at Marbles Kids Museum on Hargett Street in downtown.

The North Carolina Coastal Federation is hosting the event. The cost is $125 before March 1. After that, it will be $150. There will be talks on coastal policy and threats to habitats, plus discussions on future work.

“This two-day summit will highlight the progress and interconnectivity of work related to the advancing science, restoration, and preservation activities of many important coastal ecosystems,” organizers said. You can see the agenda on the nonprofit’s website.
